In the Saddle – On the Wall was an initiative by 13 Kimberley Indigenous artists and cultural leaders who played significant roles in the cattle industry. They wanted to pass on their stories to younger generations who are living ‘off country’, as well as the wider Australian community through artwork and video stories. It highlighted how the Indigenous contribution to our cultural heritage and economy is important to the health and wellbeing of us all – Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal. The national touring exhibition was a collaboration between five Kimberley Aboriginal Art Centres and ABC Open Producers.
I instigated and presented Flinders University City Gallery’s first audio described exhibition tour for people who are blind or vision impaired.
