I’m enjoying working with COTA SA’s Rainbow Hub, for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) people aged 50 and over.

This article “LGBTI seniors urged to switch on to stay connected” touches on our collaboration with Catalyst Foundation and ECH, Bfriend and the SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance (SARAA) and the Department of Human Services Rainbow Network, complementing their activities, and helping provide information across all platforms.

We’ve ramped up our support during COVID-19, with more frequent updates via our newsletter, check-in phone calls, aged care support and advice. Also keeping in touch with our amazing volunteers and people we coordinate as COTA Visitors for extra social connection.
